Description

The chicken coop is made from quality materials. The framing for the floors are all treated 2x4 wood. Decking for the floor is real plywood 5/8”, siding is 3/8”, inside framing 2x2, and a metal roof with lathing strips instead of plywood for better ventilation. Also used 1x3 trim. Everything has two coats of primer and two coats of exterior paint underneath, on the outside, and on the floor on the inside - plus 12” up side walls as an added barrier to protect the wood from absorbing waste odor. Additionally, it has a XL side door for cleaning, an 8x12 cutout in the floor for better ventilation, three roosting bars that are all removable, four 8x8 vents, and a 12x12 tempered glass window that doesn’t open. This coop has one nesting box.
