The chicken coop is made from quality materials. The framing for the floor is treated 2x4 wood. Decking for the floor is real plywood 5/8”, siding is 5/8”, inside framing 2x2 on walls and rafters, and 1x4 lathing strips under a metal roof. Also used 1x1 trim and 1x3 trim. Two coats of primer and two coats of exterior paint on the outside, on the floor on the inside, and underneath.
